Doctor Lu Junti, a neurosurgeon of Taihe Hospital, took 8 days and traveled nearly 50,000 kilometers to bring a seriously injured worker, Xiong Fuxing, from Bolivia to home for free treatment on Jan 13th, 2018. During the period, he had experienced many twists and turns, but had conquered all of them with the help of many well-meaning people. “One in trouble, we save it no matter how far and how difficult it is.”wrote on his Wechat. This transnational rescue has attracted widespread attention, and the world-wide medias have reported it for a month with more than 40 million video views.
